This is a classic light from Peak. After adding QTC to this older light, it has become a very useful light. I prefer lower level sub 1 lumen lights and with the QTC this is now achievable. Before the QTC it was just a high power light and now it has variable output. I let it patina nicely but can be polished to a shinier finish than it was the day I received it from Bob from Peak. Without further adieu here are some pictures:
Here's the light demonstrating the QTC with it's ultra low low, and to the right showing it's full brightness:

With the QTC and it's low lows now it can be a survival light lasting many many hours longer than it's stock runtime of say 5-7 hours on a CR123. On the lowest of lows I'd venture to guess it would last in excess of 200+ hours.
The price of brass has definitely sky rocketed as any of the new Peak Logans in brass are $85. I'll let it go for $75 shipped in the USA only. Anything less than that and I'll keep it as it is a beautiful light even just as an art piece. This is a unique light with it's 7 LEDs and the nice Snow White color is a dream even for people that prefer neutral tints.
Here's a thread from CPF documenting the beauty of the Peak McKinley way back when.
