Triple Nichia219/XPG2 Surefire E-series mods (heads and hosts)

Hi everybody...

I will try to make one thread where I will occasionally offer already modded E-series bezels and complete E-series flashlights... well... this is it...

First to post "I'll take it" wins the item, following with PMs to exchange PP info... I do however reserve the right to choose who to sell the item to... The listed items price includes PayPal fee and International Registered/Priority Airmail... I make these in Bosnia, I ship from Croatia (60 miles away)... I choose them as they are more reliable than Bosnian postal service (even if it increases cost for me)...

AVAILABLE ITEMS:

2. L4/Triple-XPG2, true OD color, made from matching bezel/body/tailcap with bezel modded with Triple-XPG2 R5 1D, pushed by KDv2 3.05A driver...

PRICE: $230 (includes pp fee and shipping costs)

Great looking flashlight made from L4 older style (3-flats) body and tailcap, beautiful Olive Drab color on all three parts (including bezel ring covered with my black label)... Body is by default accepting 17670 batteries and tailcap guts were replaced with McClicky switch to withstand higher amperage and provide less resistance than SF... Driver is setup in High-Medium-Low with NO MEMORY and provides circa 900 OTF at turn on, beautiful 6000K tint, low mode set to 65mA... to be used with 17670 or bigger batteries (or IMR 16340 on E1E body)... same words of caution to be used as for item #1, use responsibly...
NOTE: XPG2 has bigger dome than XPG or Nichia219 so it's impossible to make perfect center on Illumination Supply PCBs. The artifacts in the beam are visible but only on white wall as slightly sharper edges around hotspot... Rather hard to notice, actually 900 lumens blinds you enough if you hit white wall with it not to notice and when used outdoors, it's non-existent to eyes...

SOLD (or SPF) ITEMS

SOLD 1. E-series Olive-Drab HA incan bezel modded with Triple-Nichia219-B10, pushed by KDv2 3.05A driver SOLD

PRICE: $150 (includes pp fee and shipping costs)

Operating voltage 2.5-4.5V (can work on 6V as it's linear, not recommended on high mode AT ALL as primaries could vent/poof or whatever)... optimized for Li-Ion battery (IMR or quality protected battery bigger than 17670, as long as capacity is 1500mAh and above)... Driver is wired for Low-Medium-High with NO MEMORY and can be used on E1E body with IMR 16340 or E2E with IMR 17670 or P17670 and for those few lucky people that have FiveMega E18650 bodies, true 3Ah batteries for longer runtimes... circa 600 OTF at turn on on High mode... low mode set to 65mA, more than enough brightness for night vision...
NOTE: This is BY FAR too much power for such a small package so use High mode with caution... we all know what gets involved here by running hot-rod flashlights and I cannot be responsible for any damage that it might cause when operating without common sense and basic knowledge that spread-out thru this awesome forum...
ANOTHER NOTE: Avoid using this head with stock Surefire switch... Tailcap should have been upgraded with McClicky switch... anyone interested in slightly modded switch that can be installed in your tailcaps, I can offer one for $10 with purchase of the head... You will still need standard size 14x8 silicone boot to replace Surefire's... any needed info on how to mod switch that you already might have and how to install, PM me (there are few threads on CPF that explain that as well)...

I might have few more mods offered in next few days but I'm waiting on members that contacted me via PM and reserved them w/o looking at them... if they don't contact me, I'll offer something else...

I will ship items on Tuesday, 26th and close the thread until next batch day before... every now and then I might have some goodie ready to ship... more info can be found in my service thread that's on CPF (my sig have link)... Even if the thread is closed, you can PM me and check if I have anything cooked yet that might be available...
