This is a brand new Niteye Eye10 XM-L U2 260 Lumen 1 x CR123 in perfect condition. It's a variable brightness light that operates completely via the control ring on the head - there is no button. It's output ranges from a very low moonlight to 260 lumens with a CR123 or 550 lumnes with an RCR123. [NOTE: Using an RCR123 at maximum should be done for no more than 5 minutes as the light wasn't designed to dissipate that level of heat.] Basically, the Eye10 is very small, very bright, and very cool.
Subwoofer has a great review HERE.
I bought it to use in a light stand but determined that a traditional clicky button would be slightly easier to manipulate one-handed than the control ring. If I didn't already have a V11R (also variable via control ring), I would have kept this light but since I own that Sunwayman, this Eye10 is redundant. Now I realize that many of you see the term "redundant" and think, "Yeah? That's a good thing!", but I'm trying to maintain some modicum of control over this flashlight addiction I have ;)
Condition:
I opened the box, attached the clip, placed it in the light stand clamp (which has soft rubber jaws and left no marks), used it for about 5 minutes, and then removed the battery, took the pictures, and reboxed it. It is in perfect condition and comes with everything I received with it 5 days ago: the box, clip, hex wrench, spare o-rings, and owner's manual.
