At first I had little interest for the X40 as I thought it would be similar to the TN30. But then I found out today that it has a MUCH cleaner beam with far better focus. On top of that the infinite brightness UI is a real pleasure to use! Boy do I wish the K40 has this feature. Overall the light is a better quality build compared to both the TN30 and the K40. Another interesting feature is the provided charging accessories which makes this light a charger for 3*18650! Charge at home or in the car on the go with the provided charge and cables. The X40 is more compact than the K40.

Great Review and photos here: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/...3x18650-Review

Control

Stock: Light up a large area but the tint is unacceptable to me.

X40vn: (Photos only show 2.7A, I can now boost to 3.1A, Noticeably brighter now) Perfect balance between flood and throw with a eye pleasing tint

K40vn: Still a Great thrower but does light up a much smaller area at a distant.
